The following Case Studies show how our business
has developed with a number of our clients over the last few years. We have
tried to pick cases which show the breadth of our services. Unfortunately, we
could not include all the case studies we would have liked to because of a
lack of space.

We would have liked to include Real Ronda, for
example. We have worked closely with them over the last two years, providing
technical support and designing their Web page. Real Ronda now get over 50% of
their business from the web, with this figure growing weekly.
Case Study 1 Gordano Packaging Ltd Gordano Packaging is one of the UK’s leading players in the supply of custom designed packaging and packing solutions to many industries, including the aerospace, aviation, computer, defence, electronics, engineering, telecoms, and textile industries. The company was established in 1991 by Mike Bull and colleagues, who between them, provide knowledge and expertise from many areas of the packaging industry from around the globe. The company, thriving on this expertise, is rapidly expanding, establishing an extensive range of products and services, and continually investing in design technology, machinery, skilled people and strategic partnerships to enhance the capabilities and facilities offered. Delivering better value packaging in order to match and support the demands of the customers and industries we are serving. They follow a philosophy of working to the highest commercial standards, with a positive attitude to the environment. Currently located at four sites on the UK mainland, Clevedon (12 miles south of Bristol), Cheltenham (2) and Reading, accounting for some 60 000 square feet of manufacturing, office, storage and packing facility space, directly employing a loyal and skilful workforce of more than 80 people. Our relationship with Gordano Packaging Ltd started over ten years ago when we were asked to provide some help installing a modem. That relationship has developed to the point where we are effectively their IT department, managing all their day to day IT needs and helping them develop their future systems. We have developed a number of software applications for them:- Developed using Microsoft Access, all the applications are integrated, creating a very powerful factory management system. As the system was custom built for them it works the way they work, rather than forcing them to adopt different working practices. They are able to evolve the system, fine tuning it, to suite ever changing circumstances. We also build and maintain their PCs and related hardware and manage their their Windows 2000 network. Following the move to their new factory in March 2005 we have upgraded their network to a modern gigabit infrastructure, and have incorporated the latest wireless networking technology. We also provide training and one-to-one coaching on all software packages. Our equipment and software operates in all three factories. http://www.gordano-packaging.co.uk Case Study 2 Clevedon Salerooms We are very proud of our association with Clevedon Salerooms, one of the leading auction houses in the Bristol area. They run fortnightly General Sales and Quarterly Fine Art Sales. Based in Kenn, just outside Clevedon, they have three PCs. We have dealt with Clevedon Salerooms for over ten years and have developed a close working relationship. We developed an Access based Auction Management System, which handles all the day to day management of running their sales, from producing their sale catalogue, both in paper form and for the web, to purchaser invoices and vendor statements. The package developed for Clevedon Saleroom forms the basis for AIMS, our comprehensive Auction Management System, which is now in use in a number of auction rooms nationally. We have also worked closely with them to develop their web site. They now receive hundreds of e-mail enquiries before each sale and e-mail photos (taken with their digital camera) all over the world. Featured on the BBC's Flog It television program, Clevedon Salerooms have grown to become one of the leading auctioneers in the West Country. http://www.clevedon-salerooms.com Case Study 3 Uniross Batteries Ltd A subsidiary of a Paris based company Uniross are fast becoming a global brand. Based in Portishead, the leading supplier of rechargeable batteries for the UK domestic market they compete head to head with established brands such as Duracell and Ever Ready. Major customers include Tesco, Dixon, Argos and all the major stores. We provide their UK technical support and work closely with their Paris based IT team to manage their network, build and repair PCs and troubleshoot problems.
