We are a multi-discipline company.  Not only are we one of the leading PC Technical Support and Web Design companies in the North Somerset  and Bristol area but we are publishers of AIMS, a leading Auctioneer's Back Office system, and an MOD 640 Form management and printing system, suitable for MOD contractors who have to produce MOD 640s. 

We specialise in helping individuals and small businesses get the best out of their PCs.  We also support some of the most successful businesses in the area, such as Gordano Packaging, Uniross Batteries and Clevedon Salerooms. 

Our web design business has grown and we have now designed sites for over twenty businesses, including Real Ronda and Malaga Holiday Villas, both Spanish Holiday Villa Rental companies, La Posada del Torcal, a Spanish Hotel, Clevedon Salerooms a very successful regional auctioneer.

Based in Nailsea, we were formed in 1995 by Bob Steadman and we now employ four people.  Bob specialises in software development and web design, whilst Roger York and Matt Sheldon specialises in on-site technical support and building PCs etc.  Pauline Steadman looks after our administration and accounts.

We also publish AIMS, a powerful Back Office System for Fine Arts and Commercial Auctioneers of all sizes and an Access package to help British Ministry of Defence Contractors manage and print MOD 640 forms and MOD formatted address labels.

Gryphon Computer Support Ltd

A growing PC Technical Support Company based in Nailsea, 10 miles south of Bristol, we serve clients in the North Somerset, Bristol and South Gloucestershire area.  We provide:-

Gryphon Web Design

Web Page design - full design and development service.  We design attractive, easy to use sites which download quickly.  Several clients now get a very high proportion of their business directly from their Gryphon designed web sites.

We can arrange Domain Name registration and site hosting.

Registering sites with the main search engines, such as Google and Yahoo, is always very difficult and we never make extravagant claims about achieving a high placement.  However, good design, well thought through use of Meta Tags and Keywords and regular submission ensures that our clients sites are 'search engine friendly'. 

We also offer a web site optimisation service to check your existing site achieves the best possible rankings.

Gryphon Software Development

We have developed a great many Microsoft Access Database applications for customers over the years.  Applications include Stock Control, Contacts Management, Time Clock and Timesheet management, Factory Management and Auction Management.

As a result of our work with small companies struggling to manage contacts over a small network we have developed EasyContact, a comprehensive contacts and correspondence management package.  Created using Microsoft Access it can be easily customised to suite each individual client, either by us or by the client themselves.

• MOD 640 and Label Printing Software - Designed for UK Ministry of Defence contractors who need to record 640 data, print 640s and MOD labels.

• EasyContact - powerful contacts management software aimed at small networked work groups - ideal for managing mail-shots, appointments, contacts etc.

REQUIRMENTS: All the applications can be customised to suite your needs.  Please note, you must have Microsoft Access 2003 or better installed to run these applications.

Gryphon Auction Systems

We are the publishers of AIMS, the modern Back Office Software solution for auctioneers of all types and sizes.  AIMS, and our new baby AIMS Lite, will manage nearly every aspect of running a busy auction room.  Ideal for the small and medium sized auctioneer, both versions of AIMS are easy to use and very cost effective.

Gryphon are not simply suppliers of the excellent AIMS Back Office system but can design and manage your web site, supply your PCs and network and provide on-line remote technical support.  We try to provide a total IT solution.  Our service is ideal for auctioneers starting their business, auctioneers upgrading from a manual system or auctioneers who need to upgrade from old DOS based systems.
